About F.Y.I.

F.Y.I. also known as Foreshadow (Lyndon Marshall) is a Los Angeles-based emcee. He is best known as a co-founder of the rap group, Those Chosen.

F.Y.I’s musical journey began with the trio Those Chosen in the mid-2000‘s, culminating in recording over 100 songs and the release of numerous videos, mixtapes, and official commercial releases including the critically acclaimed ep, 5ive. The record was produced mainly by Grammy-Award winning super producer, IZ Avila (of the Avila Brothers) and featured the #3 record on U.S. College Radio, Soundclash, along with cuts like Spare Tires, and The 1ne. The group was listed in URB Magazine‘s Top 25 Artists to Watch title along with a distribution deal with Wes Jackson‘s, President/Founder of the Brooklyn Hip-Hop Festival, indie digital imprint Savannah Boogie.

Lyndon is also a great friend of me and my wife. He’s married to Sandy’s last roommate, Maria and is an all-around great guy. He has so much energy and love it’s contagious. We were happy to be there and capture this intimate show in San Diego. We look forward to watching his career grow.
